Why we exist

Fincorp started because tech hiring was broken in a specific way: agencies were optimizing for speed of submission, not speed of the right hire. Founders and hiring managers were getting fast candidates who didn't fit, or good candidates six weeks too late. We built our model around one rule. Never trade vetting for speed. If we can't vet someone properly in 48 hours, we don't submit them.

How we work

Every candidate goes through a three-part screen before you ever see a name. A technical assessment matched to your actual stack, a structured work-style interview, and a reference check with someone who managed their output. That's what "vetted" means here. It's not a word we use loosely.

Who's behind it

Fincorp was founded by a former technical recruiter who spent 20 years watching good engineers get filtered out by keyword-matching software and bad screens. The team today is a mix of former in-house recruiters, engineers-turned-sourcers, and account leads who've each sat on the hiring manager's side of the table before.
